Lantana fucata is a shrub widely distributed in eastern Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, and northern Argentina. It is a habitat generalist growing in forests, grasslands, and anthropogenic habitats; from sea level to 1,600 m. It flowers nearly all year, and butterflies are main pollinators.
